Architectural services
Gareth Allison Design offers a client-focused architectural service for residential projects. Whether you are planning an extension, a complete refurbishment, a new build, or simply want expert advice, we bring creativity, precision and close attention to detail to every stage.
From concept to completion
Our full service covers every stage of the architectural journey, so the process is clear and straightforward for you.
- Initial consultation and feasibility. Understanding your aspirations, the potential of the site and your budget, and helping you explore ideas and test whether the project is viable.
- Concept design. Translating your brief into design options, exploring layouts, light, materials and appearance, with sketches, 3D visualisations and mood boards so you can see the possibilities.
- Planning and approvals. Navigating planning permission, permitted development, conservation area and listed building consent, and building regulations. We prepare and submit all the drawings and documents.
- Technical design. Developing the approved design into a full set of construction drawings and specifications, coordinated with structural engineers and other specialists.
- Tender and contractor selection. Obtaining competitive prices from reputable builders and helping you choose the right team.
- Contract administration. Administering the building contract, inspecting the work on site, monitoring quality and progress, certifying payments and managing the project through to completion.
- Aftercare. A smooth handover and support as you settle into your new space.
Tailored to your project
Every project and client is different. We are happy to tailor the service to your needs and budget, from a single stage such as a planning application to the full journey from first sketch to final handover.
